Panther
Cup 2026
A complete sports identity, broadcast system, and narrative companion series transforming a campus tournament into a cinematic, institution-level event experience. The project includes Offsides, a mockumentary-style backstory that builds the world, humor, and tension behind the tournament.
The problem behind the work.
The challenge was to take a playful campus concept and make it feel real, organized, and visually authoritative across print, motion, livestream graphics, physical production, and narrative storytelling. Panther Cup needed to feel like a legitimate televised sporting event, while Offsides gave the tournament a comedic backstory that made the world feel more alive, personal, and memorable.

The story behind the tournament.
Offsides functions as the narrative companion to Panther Cup — a short mockumentary-style series that explains why the tournament exists and gives the project emotional weight beyond the visual identity.
The title comes from the football rule, but it also becomes a metaphor for misalignment: people moving too early, clashing personalities, and friends trying to find rhythm before finally settling everything on the field.

The system that made it work.
The system used structured typography, broadcast-inspired layouts, motion overlays, a 3D trophy, environmental graphics, and a clear visual logic built around unity, duality, and competition.

Published coverage documenting Panther Cup 2026 and its impact on the campus community.
Featured by campus media.
Panther Cup was featured in a published article that covered the event, its production, and the community response surrounding the project.
The article helped show that Panther Cup extended beyond a design exercise and became a real campus experience built through branding, storytelling, livestream production, and collaboration.
Built across identity, motion, production, and digital systems.
This project extended beyond a traditional brand identity. It required visual strategy, motion graphics, broadcast design, 3D production, livestream planning, and narrative world-building through Offsides.

Created through leadership and collaboration.
Panther Cup was made possible through collaboration between camera operators, commentators, players, and volunteers. While I led the creative direction, branding, motion graphics, broadcast visuals, and event identity, the project was brought to life through a collective production effort.
